Wildwood Beach Patrol’s “J Dub”

Joseph Wright sent in a few photos from his lifeguard & military days. He served on the Wildwood Beach Patrol in 1964, and then again when he returned home from Germany in 1975 after enlisting in the US Air Force. Pictured on the chair with a girl from Montreal, “J Dub”, as he is remembered here in the “Woods”, fondly recalls, “It was a rough job but somebody gotta do it…”  🙂

After that summer he headed to Nebraska for college. He is pictured as Airman of the Month at 792nd Radar Sq. (ADC), in N. Charleston AFS, SC 29404, 1965. A special honor indeed.  Thanks J. Dub!
