From the archives of Aladdin Color, shines an original 1960s photograph of a group of teens at the Gondolier Motel in Wildwood Crest (which happily is still located at Lavender Avenue & the beach). David Bard began Aladdin in 1953 during the motel building boom. He created many of the colored postcards & brochures of Wildwood back in the day.
Naturally, because we here at The Sun are the biggest fans of all things retro, it is only fitting to feature this photo together with our special retro-makeover cover on the flip side, as Mr. Bard’s photos have been the inspiration behind many of The Sun’s cover photos!!
