Welcome to Dorothy’s inaugural blog! I’m speechless. I don’t know what to type. I never blogged before.
I guess I’ll start with “Hello! Did you enjoy the latest issue of The Sun?” and did you know that today marks the 5th year anniversary when The Sun took the Wildwoods by a happy surprise! Amazing! The Sun has made me a better person and I am so thankful to God for it.
I’ve been getting great feedback. It’s funny how it seems people often tell me how it’s their favorite issue. It seems they’ve said that before! They don’t just say they love The Sun, they say “I Loooooooooove The SUN!” And I always say… I Loooove making it!
Bob Ingram’s Starfire story really put a spring smile on a lot of faces. There have been many happy readers who enjoyed the Wildwood history lesson in This Old Coombs House , but really, I think that so many people love the Long’s and enjoyed their story as well as the pics. (Rachel Ashwell really can’t hold a candle to Regina Long! Her house is amazing!) And I would be remiss not to mention my son’s brilliant photography not just in the current issue but in every one. Well, I think I’m gonna like this blog because it will give me a chance to share with you all the buzz The Sun receives via letters at the p.o. box, emails, phonecalls, et al. and now the blog! Feel free to post your comments or feedback or thoughts on The Sun!
