DEADLINES CAN ZONK YOU OUT!!!!

we made it!! now there’s a little hiatus before Delivery in one week!

I love the whooshing sounds of deadlines!

I am humbled by the number of requests every day… “When is The SUN COMING OUT?”

This morning, a little email came through simply saying… “I can’t wait for March 5th.”

Everyone’s jonsing for it! I have been putting this issue together all winter long and from this end, I am ready to wrap it up! Just getting ready to send my files to press. The delivery truck will be hauling a huge shipment of Sun by-the-seas onto our island next Thursday morning. . . March 5th!

I shouldn’t do this and ruin a surprise…. but here is another one from that fabulous bathing beauties photo shoot that my son did! He’s an amazing photographer that Rob!

This family looks so happy in their 1963 Plymouth Valiant. She warms up the engine and backs out and takes a little while to turn the wheel… remember there was no power steering then.

It reminded me of some old cars we had in our family. My sister Sharon had a blue turquoise Ford Fairlane , I had a red 1963 Mercury Monterey, I Loved that car!

I was just thinking that I can’t wait to get out and ride my new bright yellow electric golf cart!!

I have to get back to work. Only 2 more weeks and the paper goes to print!

I ran into Tony & Laura from the infamous SAM’S PIZZA last night and we talked alot about the Boardwalk and about all things WILDWOOD and the good things that are happening up on that boardwalk… like SAM’S PIZZA re-opening for the 2009 season on Friday, the 13th. .. 6 more days!

and Why Easter Sunday is different every year. Here is the explaination: March 20th is the first Day of Spring which is the Vernal Equinox, The Sun will cross directly over the Earth’s equator. Day & Night are in almost perfect balance. The date is significant in Christianity because Easter always falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon after the vernal equinox. THE FULL Pink MOON is Holy Thursday, April 9th, thus making Easter April 12th this year. Last year it was March 23rd. the earliest Easter Sunday since 1913!
