Kitchen’s Open!

If you see my husband* & my son lately and they look very happy it’s because we managed, by the pure grace of God, to get another edition out and I was able to take a break from my computer and open my kitchen again! (see photo by Rob of the pepper & egg sandwich I made him for breakfast. Yesterday we had blueberry pancakes and bacon!) Even though I love my computer… we get so close sometimes we’re like one! and I get a great tan from it’s glare on my face for hours on end!……. it’s been so nice to be out and about moving around, seeing you all, and delivering The SUN by-the-sea! I say ‘thank you God!’ everytime I see someone walking home with one tucked under their arm or reading one on their porch or when someone yells out to me and says “great edition!” This morning even Marcus Rawden who owns about 70 Blockbusters, pulled up next to my car to tell me so. All of those hours of work pay off a hundredfold when an issue gets printed! I’m really happy that everyone is enjoying it so much! I hope I get more of those old bathing beauty photos pouring in again over the winter! They are so wonderful and I just love being able to print them in my paper! and everyone seems to loves them the best! I’m stoked too that my paper will be remembered for being the original nostalgic newspaper of the Wildwoods. My friend Bob Bright at the Wildwood Museum saves them all for future Wildwood lovers… very cool! I truly truly love Wildwood and that’s what I hope everyone feels in their hearts after reading The SUN! There’s a quote that can pertain to this “Just because everything is different doesn’t mean anything has changed!” Not to change the subject (even though i am) my son just called to tell me that he knows what it is like to be high… high on life! Sunset surfing in North Wildwood on a perfect swell with baby dolphins swimming underneath and all around him and playing in the water…. the sky had been overcast all afternoon when all of the sudden the sun burst through as it began to set and lit up a golden yellow sky… it really doesn’t get any better than that! “Summertime is the most beautiful word in the English language.” ~quote by Henry James Wishing a very happy summer! If you don’t hear from me for a while again it’s because I’m hard at work on the indian summer edition!~Dorothy *please continue to pray for my husband Bobby.
