Happy Memorial Day! The official kick off to summer. The way it turns out, is usually a good indication of what the summer is going to be like.

Well. . .  get ready for a hot & sunny & great 2008 summer season!  The weather got better and better each day of the holiday weekend. The island was jam packed- I didn’t mind having to wait 10 minutes to cross New Jersey Ave. I was just so happy for all of the merchants who have struggled to get by all winter long. It was a rough year this year. So what if gas is $4.00 a gallon. Everyone is coming to Wildwood this summer!! Wildwood was just nominated for it’s best beaches! Everyone is smiling now! June is days away! School will be out. It’s also officially my busiest month of the year! oh! and my birthday month too!

maybe it’s the artist in me who needs to always be journaling…
there’s a need to create and connect,
relating to my past, and with the world I live in…
The Sun has become sort of a blog for people, more and more people write to me and say thanks for the walk down memory lane.
for some reason that makes me happy.
They say I absolutely Love your paper.
I want the readers of The Sun to know that I absolutely Love putting it together for them!
I never dreamed of being able to bless so many people with my art.
I think I’ll get working on my next issue!!
